Educational Scoliosis Surgery Documentary video (Spinal Fusion) & G-Tube Surgery

This is a phenomenal Full Spinal Fusion Surgery for a fully nonverbal 17 yr old male (Daniel) with severe multiple disabilities; physically and intellectually. Music version
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJcepTCcTNw. It contains video footages from prior and immediate after his scoliosis surgery for spinal correction from sacrum to T2. There were no screws, no outer stitches, no staples, and no braces after surgery. Daniel had an exceptional recovery period; he was able to sit up and drive his power wheelchair on day 3 and he was discharged on day 4. This is an amazing documentary of a severe spastic quad cerebral palsy, totally nonverbal 17 yr old young man underwent spinal surgery without intraoperative complications and only stay in the hospital for 4 days instead of 5 (average hospital stay is 5-7 days). Then 3 weeks later he was scheduled a G-tube surgery to replace NG-tube as a permanent solution for nutritional & medications intake with 1 day hospital stay. This video is intended for educational use only. Remember, this is a major surgery and it is very unusual to have such an excellent results, especially for someone with multiple disabilities resulted in total care, non-ambulatory, and non-verbal statuses!!!

During Daniel's years in the public school system, he was labeled as "medically fragile" by school's staff (not by his physicians); this was an excise for his public school to eliminate all his gross motor activities with his peers and to isolate him from accessing other parts of the public school environment. This video supported that the public school records were falsely documented his medical conditions. If Daniel can underwent this type of trauma on his body and recovery nicely; then why couldn't Daniel stand or walk at school? And why was Daniel denied the right to use his own medical equipment so that he could be functional at his high school; instead of being humiliated by using ill fitted outdated medical equipment recommended by the school's PT that took advantage of a cripple teenager?
